OK, Sorry this has been so neglected the past few weeks. As it is, it’s almost 1am and I’m sitting here in my hotel room in The Woodlands, TX where I’m spending Easter with my family. I’ll try and play catch up before Wedding Season really gets into full swing!
After about 43 hrs of flying, over 10 hrs of driving, and visiting 2 hemispheres…. I made it home safe and sound. Kodi (my Standard Poodle) went to visit Moondance Standard Poodles in Suffolk where he got to have fun on the farm… and he came home pretty tired. Of course… once he got his legs under him again I had to bring him back to Moondance so I could come here, to The Woodlands, Tx. Boy, is it GREAT to be back in the Houston area. It’s amazing how even though we no longer have a physical home here, it’s still…. home.
First of all, I can’t complain much about jet lag because I got to see a few beautiful sunrises.
In honor of the Comic Relief Charity “Red Nose Day” the Eye was glowing red instead of its usual blue. For all you photo geeks out there, no tri-pod was used in ANY of the photos on this blog.

This marked the first time there was a day nice enough to go and sit out on my parents terrace and enjoy a glass of wine. A great treat!

Jeremy Walker… he’s the one responsible for my profile photo above.

This is my favorite part of “tourist London.” It always becomes my “last” stop of the trip and this trip was no different. I usually go to a different corner every year… this year… the side with the Dolphin fountain.

There’s still a few old school buses that run on a few routes. They are indeed purely for nostalgia’s sake, so if you are in London… hop on and take a ride! However… after one ride on the shockless-bumpy-smelly-exhaust filled bus you will appreciate the newer double deckers

On my last Sunday, my dad and I went out to “Speakers Corner” to do some street photography of all the diverse people and those preaching up on their “soap boxes” (where the expression originates.) Unfortunately… it was apparently such a nice day no one was preaching
So, we walked through Hyde Park… CLEAR across the park to Kensington Palace… and then across the neighborhood back to the flat. Whew, that was a nice but long walk!
